11/20/25 - How we're collaborating to oppose the BLM process trying to allow new oil drilling in our public lands in California

Registration is closed for this event

The Bureau of Land Management plans to open over 600,000 acres of public lands in California to new oil  and gas drilling, with the draft Environmental Impact Report expected any day now. (the process was suspended during the Shutdown, but is anticipated to restart soon).

The most important action we can take is to organize ourselves as health professionals, and concerned Californians to speak up against this effort by submitting comments on the report documenting the litany of environmental and health harms of expanded drilling during the comment window.

Join us on November 20th at 12:30pm to learn about the BLM’s process tthat's underway, and how we are organizing our communities to oppose new drilling in our public lands.

These are the 16 counties at-risk for new oil and gas drilling:

Join us and raise your voice to and say, "No New Drilling on OUR CA Public Lands!"
